Inter boss Andrea Stramaccioni has responded angrily to claims that he has fallen out with midfielder Wesley Sneijder and says there is no problem.

The Dutchman did not feature against AC Milan last weekend leading some to question his place with the side, despite coming back from injury, and his relationship with the coach.

“I get angry when people discuss this because he just could not play,” he said. “There is no misunderstanding with Sneijder.

“At the moment we are figuring out his place in the side because he is a particular kind of player, his location is behind the strikers but he can play further into the midfield.”

The former Real Madrid man has not featured since leaving the field injured in the first half against Chievo towards the end of September.
