AC Milan are allegedly getting ready to make a bid for PSG midfielder Javier Pastore.

Given that the Rossoneri are looking to add some strength and creativity to their midfield, sporting director Ariedo Braida views the Argentine as the perfect piece.

The 23-year-old joined the French side from Palermo in the summer of 2011, and had been a key member in the squad.  However, he has struggled to find his form as of late, and is no longer a regular starter under manager Carlo Ancelotti.

He was purchased from Palermo by the Ligue 1 side for €40 million, and his contract will not terminate until the end of 2016.

However, according to goal.com, there could be a deal in the works which would see Ignazio Abate move to the Paris club along with €20 million in exchange for Pastore.

AC Milan are reportedly monitoring the situation surrounding the player, and will be ready to make a move to bring the Argentina international to the San Siro if he should opt to leave the French club.

This would be the silliest thing that Milan would be doing. Nothing against the talented Pastore or to make Abate bigger than he is. As a matter of fact, believe that De Scilio can step into Abate’s shoes immediately. But to give out 20 Million that was gained for the sale of Ibra back to PSG is total non-sense. This after all has all the signs of Ibra vs. Pastore disagreement all over it.
