Genoa host Fiorentina at the Marassi on Thursday night, with newly appoineted coach Luigi Delneri trying to make his presence felt.
The Rossoblu have had a less than convincing start to the season prompting president Enrico Periziosi to axe the former coach, Gigi Di Canio.
Meanwhile, Vincenzo Montella’s men will be determined to build on the victory against Lazio, with the aim of earning the right to play European football next season.
The Viola are currently fifth in the points table, with 15 points whilst Genoa are 16th.
