Juventus smashed Nordsjaelland 4-0 at the Juventus Stadium in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Claudio Marchisio opened the scoring early on before Arturo Vidal, Sebastian Giovinco and Fabio Quagliarella wrapped up all three points.

Juventus continued to dominate and should have went two up when Marchisio ghosted into the box, but his close range shot was straight at the goalkeeper Jesper Hansen.

Sebastian Giovinco then made a good run down the left wing and his pull back from inside the box found Arturo Vidal who blazed his shot over the bar.

But a horrendous mistake from Lorentzen gifted the Bianconeri their second, as Vidal slid in on the Dane almost on the goal line, he got to the ball and caught out Hansen in goal to double Juve’s lead.

Nordsjaelland were really struggling to get out their own half and could have been three down as Marchisio forced a good save from Hansen, with a long range effort.

However it was three soon after, as Pirlo played a lovely pass to Giovinco whose shot from inside the area was expertly placed in the far corner.

The Danes did look to make it more of a contest in the second half, but Juve were still in complete control, though Buffon was tested from distance but made a comfortable save.

Matri should have put the home side ahead after rounding the goalkeeper but the defence recovered and cleared the ball.

The striker was again played through on goal but this time the ball was a little too far in front off him and he failed to get a touch on it.

A Pirlo corner was flicked onto Quagliarella who nodded home from close range to effectively kill the game off.
