Juventus assistant coach Angelo Alessio feels the Old Lady did everything but score against Lazio on Saturday night.

The Bianconeri dominated the match but failed to find the target in the 0-0 draw.

“We had so many scoring opportunities and dominated the match. We had everything except the goal,” he told the press

“Andrea Pirlo was suspended, but we created chances anyway and Leonardo Bonucci hit the crossbar, so he was not missed.

“Lazio played in a catenaccio style and were simply defensive throughout. We must focus only on our own progress and our position in the table.”

Regarding his decision to take off Fabio Quagliarella instead of Sebastian Giovinco he said.

“Giovinco had been doing better, but we also had to take into account the upcoming games.

“The crowd was exemplary. It’s possible there were some jeers, but I won’t take anything away from Giovinco’s performance.”
