Udinese were pegged back late on by Parma in a 2-2 draw at the Stadio Friuli in Serie A on Sunday.

Antonio Di Natale gave the home side the lead early on, but Marco Marchionni equaliser just after the break, but Roberto Pereyra restored the home side’s advantage minutes later, but Raffaele Palladino grabbed a late goal to restore parity.

Francesco Guidolin’s men went on the attack from the off and put Parma under early pressure and it paid off after just ten minutes.

Di Natale was played through by an excellent Domizzi ball which was elegantly controlled and the finish a lob over Antonio Mirante.

Parma failed to convince in the early stages as Udinese pressed well and starved Roberto Donadoni’s men of the ball.

But they really should have been on level terms when Amauri’s header was brilliantly saved by Brkic in the Udinese goal.

However, just a minute into the second half Parma were on level terms as Marchionni took advantage of a rebound in the penalty area to slot past Brikic.

There was an immediate reaction from the Zebrette who earned a corner minutes after the restart, and from that corner a mistake by Mirante meant that  Pereyra tapped into an empty net.

The Gialloblu weren’t disheartened and still had a foothold in the game, though they rarely threatened.

Pabon forced a save from Brkic and Di Natale also saw a shot fly just wide.

But Parma managed a late equaliser through Palladino, with Udinese defence non-existent he waltzed through on Brkic and recreated Di Natale’s effort from earlier in the game.

That goal was Parma’s 1000th in Serie A and one that earned them a point.
