Corriere dello Sport have claimed on Monday that AC Milan are rekindling their interest in Inter want-away Wesley Sneijder.

The Nerazzurri playmaker recently spoke to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, saying “clearly it’s better for everyone if I leave in January.

“If that doesn’t happen, then I will stay. I have a contract until the end of June 2015 with Inter.”

It is believed that Senijder’s wife Yolanthe’s desire to remain in the fashion capital of Italy may affect the Dutchman’s decision of a new destination, and could potentially see him stay at the San Siro with crosstown rivals Milan.

The Rossoneri will have to cross swords with the likes of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain in the quest for the midfielder’s signature.
