The agent of Roma right-back Ivan Piris is happy with how his client’s time has been so far with the capital club.
“I have been following his games. I saw a great performance by Ivan, who confirmed the extraordinary work he showed against Fiorentina at the weekend,” the player’s representative Giuseppe Addamiano told GazzettaGiallorossa today.
“Ivan is only 23 years old, but despite everything, he has already played over 200 games at the top level in South America, not to mention his experience with the national team, where he is a starter and he played in the Copa America Final.
“He is a serious guy and a professional. When he goes on to the field, he never spares any effort.”
Piris’ start to his Giallorossi career started shakily but he has since turned in numerous consistent displays over the past two months to cast away doubts. A testament to his consistency in Zeman’s Roma is that only Leandro Castan and Francesco Totti have played more minutes than Piris for I Lupi this season.
