With the approaching January transfer window just a few weeks away, Catania have yet to offer new deals to eight of their current players.

Twenty-nine-year-old goalkeeper Mariano Andujar would be free to find another deal if he is not extended. The Argentine has played in 16 matches this term.

A host of defenders still remain with their current deals which are set to expire at the end of the season.

Twenty-eight-year old Argentine Pablo Alvarez who has played in 13 matches this term, 24-year-old Pole Blazej Augustyn who has not made a single appearance, 36-year-old Nicola Legrottaglie who has 15 features to his name and a goal, 28-year-old Giovanni Marchese who has a goal in 14 showings, and 28-year-old Alessandro Potenza who has not a single appearance are all approaching the last six months of their current deals.

Thirty-four-year-old midfielder Adrian Ricchiuti and 24-year-old forward Takayuki Morimoto are the other two players who would be free to open talks with another club in January.  Ricchiuti has just three appearances to his name this term, while the Japanese has four.
