Juventus are said to be interested in Udinese defender Danilo to replace recently released Lucio.

Sportmediaset.it report that there have already been talks with the Friulani for a loan deal in January, with the obligation to purchase half of his rights in the summer before purchasing his entire registation.

Danilo signed for Udinese in June 2011 from Brazilian club Palmeiras. He has since gone on to make 49 appearances for the club while contributing 4 goals.

The 28-year-old has a contract that runs until 2016 but with the reigning Italian champions keen to add him to their ranks, it remains to be seen whether Udinese can keep him for the duration of his contract.
