Juventus are keen to add a new defender during the January transfer window, with Zenit’s Nicolas Lombaerts being the latest name linked with the Bianconeri.
The current Scudetto holders recently released Lucio after a disappointing few months with the club, and Juventus are looking all over Europe for a replacement.
The 27-year-old has been in Russia since 2007 when he moved from Belgian club Gent and has a contract that runs until 2014, but a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs could be too good to turn down.
It remains to be seen whether Juve are willing to meet the €10 million that fichajes.net are reporting the Russian club would ask for in any transfer.
