Joining Dov Schiavone this week on the Italian Football Fancast is Enzo Misuraca, Emmet Gates and David Tenenbaum.
After last week’s excellent display against Napoli, Grrr-Inter turned into a whimper as the Nerazzurri were dominated by Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico. The match finished 1-0 to the home side thanks to Mirloslav Klose, but it could have been a whole lot worse as Vladimir Petkovic’s men marched on up the Serie A table.
Elsewhere, Napoli’s run of bad luck continued as they were undone by Bologna at the Stadio San Paolo. In a thoroughly entertaining match the Partenopei succumbed to a late onslaught, conceding twice in the final five minutes… and one was an absolute beauty.
Fiorentina won the Tuscan Derby in convincing fashion with Luca Toni grabbing a double in their 4-1 win over Siena, but the defeat for the Robur meant the end of Serse Cosmi’s tenure at the club.
Juventus streamrollered a lacklustre Atalanta side, while AC Milan found themselves a little fortunate at times against Pescara at the San Siro.
Meanwhile, there were wins for Parma and Chievo, as Sampdoria jumped on the managerial merry-go-round and fired Ciro Ferrara after their loss to Catania at the weekend.
All this and a whole lot more will be answered in this weeks show, plus we have Kevin Tarbuck who will bring us all up-to-date on the happenings in Serie B, plus we have a special Christmas competition where you can win a SERIE A JERSEY of your choice courtesy of bwin.com. But you have to listen to find out the details.
