Juventus took on Torino in the first Derby della Mole for three years and dominated their city rivals in the match.
Picking up a 3-0 win thanks to a Claudio Marchisio brace and another from Sebastian Giovinco, they proved there is still like in the Old Lady yet, though they were helped by Kamil Glik’s sending off after half an hour.
That victory kept the Bianconeri at the top of Serie A and thus put pressure on the chasing pack to keep up.
Inter managed a 1-0 victory over Palermo at the San Siro, but had to rely on an own goal, while there were also wins for Napoli and Lazio, but Fiorentina couldn’t put Sampdoria to the sword at the Stadio Franchi on Sunday evening.
Despite the win, the Nerazzurri have bigger problems as their contract dispute with Wesley Sneijder looks to be dragging on, with the midfielder refusing to sign a new deal and looking to be on his way come January.
AC Milan won at the Stadio Massimino against Cagliari, but had a fortunate red card and Stephan El Shaarawy to thank for the victory.
All this and a whole lot more will be answered in this weeks show, plus we have Kevin Tarbuck who will bring us all up-to-date on the happenings in Serie B.
