The agent of Palermo-bound Napoli player Andrea Dossena, claims AC Milan were interested in his client.
The former Liverpool man will be joining the Sicilian club in the January transfer window.
Roberto La Florio told Radio Lombarda. “He is liked by Milan, they followed him in June and also again recently.
He could have done well for Milan, but they have enough squad options already in the position that he plays.”
The agent went on to say, “Palermo? They have stepped up for him and we are close to a deal. He’ll move to the Rosanero just as soon as Napoli sign Pablo Armero from Udinese.”
Dossena has only managed seven league games for the Azzuri this season.
