Salvatore Aronica believes that new club Palermo can turn their season around with a strong showing in the January transfer window.

The Sicilian native has joined from fellow Serie A club Napoli as the club look to turn around their season after slumping into the winter break in 18th position.

“We are not going through a very good moment,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“Our position in the standings is not good but the club are working hard in the window to make the necessary adjustments.”

“I see a lot of enthusiasm within the squad in training and that is needed to make the best possible start to the New Year.”

The Rosanero, who are now under the guidance of Gian Piero Gasperini, will travel away to Parma when Serie A resumes this weekend.
