Chievo have completed the signing of Palermo goalkeeper Samir Ujkani on loan until the end of the season.
The Albanian has been one of the Rosanero’s star performers this season despite their lowly league position but has been benched after the arrival of Stefano Sorrentino from Verona.
The shot-stoppers have swapped clubs and although Sorrentino has moved permanently to Sicily, the 24-year-old Ujkani has moved to the Flying Donkeys until the end of the season although they have the option to purchase 50% of his contract in May.
He has made 19 appearances this season for Palermo so far since arriving from Novara.
In other transfer news surrounding the Renzo Barbera side, Mauro Cetto has left the club to join Argentinean outfit San Lorenzo.
