Chievo have confirmed that striker David Di Michele has left the club.
The 37-year-old joined the Flying Donkeys from Lecce on a free transfer last summer but after failing to make an impact in Verona both parties have decided to rescind his contract.
Di Michele scored just once in 11 appearances for Chievo in Serie A. He has now returned to Serie B side Reggina, a team where he played between 2002 and 2004.
