Palermo sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco has revealed Napoli left-back Andrea Dossena is very close to a switch to the Sicilian club.
“Dossena will arrive in Palermo sooner or later,” Lo Monaco told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“We have already defined the details between the club and player, but the transfer hinges on Napoli acquiring a replacement.”
Napoli have been heavily linked to Udinese left wing-back Pablo Armero in the winter market and it is believed confirmation on that deal being finalised will pave the way for Dossena’s exit.
