Fiorentina director of sport Daniele Prade has shared that his club’s relationship with Juventus is rather cold at this point.
Recent speculation has suggested that the two clubs had engaged in negotiations over a potential switch for Fabio Quagliarella in the January transfer window.
Prade has confirmed, however, that the clubs have not yet resolved their mutual animosity relating to Juventus’ alleged interference in the Viola’s failed attempt to sign Dimitar Berbatov over the summer.
“Quagliarella? There is no truth in it,” he told Sky Sport Italia. “We already have five strikers that we firmly believe in.
“The relationship with Juve? Speaking honestly, I’ve not made any contact with them. I’ll continue to go down that road until the club tell me to re-open communications.”
