Bundesliga club Hoffenheim have issued Parma with an ultimatum regarding their interest in signing striker Amauri, according to Tuttosport.

Although sporting director Pietro Leonardi has denied claims that both the former Juventus man and defender Gabriel Paletta, who has also been linked with a move away, could be set to leave Emilia Romagna before the end of the transfer window.

Hoffenheim are eager to take the 32-year-old away from the peninsula and are believed to have triggered the release clause within his contract.

The Ducali have been warned that they must give the German side an answer to the deal by tonight and are set to offer Amauri a three-and-a-half year contract worth €1.5m net.

He has scored four times in 12 appearances at the Ennio Tardini this campaign.
