The English media are reporting that Inter are leading the race to sign Marseille’s Loic Remy.

The Daily Mail reports that despite interest from QPR and Newcastle, Inter are the closest to signing the 26-year-old.

QPR manager Harry Redknapp recently went to watch the player in person, but it is believed the Frenchmen has no intention of signing for the London club.

Newcastle want to sign a replacement for recently departed Demba Ba and believe that Remy would be the perfect replacement.

However both clubs have been made aware of the Nerazzurri’s interest, and it is believed that they have an inside track should Marseille decide to let Remy go.
