Liverpool and Southampton to enter bidding war for Inter’s Coutinho

Liverpool and Southampton are reportedly both ready to increase their respective offers for Inter’s Philippe Coutinho.

The Reds have already bid €8 million, which was rejected by Inter, while the Saints are said to have offered €12 million for the Brazilian.

According to Sky Sport Italia, both clubs are ready to up their offers to €13 million, a figure which the Nerazzurri are thought to deem a saleable value.

It has also been claimed that the money from the sale of Coutinho will be used to trigger the release clause of Corinthians midfielder Paulinho, which is thought to be €15 million.
