Livorno have shown interest in signing Napoli’s Primavera star Roberto Insigne on loan.
Roberto, the younger brother of Lorenzo, has had a sensational season to date that was capped with a first team debut in the Europa League against PSV.
Sporting director Riccardo Bigon has refused multiple offers from Serie B clubs looking to loan the 18-year-old in January, but Napoli want him to bring success in the Primavera side before gaining experience.
According to IamNaples.it, Lanciano have made inquiries into taking the player on loan starting next season. That was followed by Livorno who have made similar inquires in recent days.
What is certain is that despite his young age, Roberto is well on his way to following in the steps of his older brother.
