Thomas Manfredini has thanked Atalanta fans for their support during his time at the club.
The 32-year-old spent eight years with La Dea before moving to Genoa last week.
“I want to thank the Curva Nord for the good times we spent together,” he told reporters. “They have a special place in my heart.
“I was approached by Genoa and they made me feel important, so the desire to come here was great.
“I met with the President and the Coach and now here I am – wearing the shirt of the oldest team in Italy.”
