Young Inter midfielder Marco Benassi was quick to keep himself grounded when asked about his progress following his recent form.
The 18-year-old Primavera product, who’s now owned by Inter after confirming a deal with Modena, was once again in the lineup on Wednesday.
“I still consider myself a youth player who’s there if [manager Andrea] Stramaccioni needs me,” said Benassi to Inter channel.
“The Roma loss? It was a tough game and they’re a very good team who play quick football. The result wasn’t great, but it wasn’t the worst either.”
Benassi has also featured in Serie A and Europa League.
