Although heavily linked with a move to Palermo, it now appears that Malaga playmaker Diego Buonanotte may not be making his way to the Rosanero anymore according to the club’s sporting director Pietro Lo Monaco.
Despite a great interest in the 24 year old, it seems as if that the Aquile are now having second thoughts on purchasing the Argentinian.
When asked about the change of heart Lo Monaco had this to say, “We want to do everything possible to strength the team,
“We will not give up, regardless of where we are in the League.
“Buonanotte wanted to come here,” he added. “But the problem now is that we are having second thoughts about the move.”
A struggling Palermo side could still make a move for the Argentinian who scored a lovely free-kick against Barcelona on the weekend but, will surely take their time and decide whether the midfielder is what they need right now to avoid the drop.
