Inter’s directors are lining up a possible move for Parma midfielder Jaime Valdes, according to a Calciomercato report today.

The playmaker has taken on a much deeper-lying role in the Ducali midfield under Roberto Donadoni but remains one of their most important players.

The 32-year-old is out of contract next summer and would seriously consider a move to Inter, something he sees as the last opportunity of his career to join a very big club.

However, Parma do not want the Chilean to leave and although there are no plans as yet to offer him a new contract, they are desperate to keep him at the club until at least the end of his contract.

In 14 games in the league this season for the Crociati, Valdes has contributed with three goals and an assist.
