Milan and Juventus transfer target Simeone Zaza has renewed a contract with Sampdoria.
The forward is on loan at Ascoli, scoring 14 goals in 23 games in Serie B and scored nine goals in the Viareggio cup six months prior.
Sampdoria appear to be resigned to the idea that Mauro Icardi will not be in Genoa next season, so have sought to tie Zaza down to a long term deal.
