AC Milan’s match against Cagliari will go ahead as originally planned at the Stadio Is Arenas.

The game was moved from the Stadio Is Arenas to the Stadio Olimpico in Torino after concerns were raised about security at the Sardinian ground, before later being reinstated.

However, local authorities opposed to the match going ahead and launched an appeal against the decision for the game to be played at the Is Arenas, meaning it could have either been abandoned altogether or played behind closed doors.

The TAR tribunal met on Saturday afternoon and reject the appeal from the prefect of Cagliari and the match will go ahead as originally scheduled.
