Chievo’s Acerbi slams former club AC Milan

Francesco Acerbi has launched an attack on former club AC Milan for the treatment he received during his time at the San Siro.

The defender moved back to Chievo, via Genoa in the January transfer window, and has revealed his time at the Rossoneri was an unhappy one.

“I am very happy at Chievo and leaving Milan was a weight off my shoulders,” he told the press.

“The Rossoneri are a great club, but I had many difficulties. I am more relaxed now, as at Milan I could not give what I wanted to.”
