Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi has urged his teammates to find some consistency after recent back-to-back victories.

The 21-year-old told Corriere dello Sport: “We are doing well right now, but we need to be consistent if we are to qualify for Europe.”

“After victories against Juventus and Atalanta, we have to now continue on this path and beat Genoa. We must continue our winning streak,” he added.

The Giallorossi have struggled for consistency all season, winning twice in a row on only two occasions this season prior to the victory against Atalanta.  This was one of the reasons for the dismissal of Zdenek Zeman in early February.

Aurelio Andreazzoli is now in charge temporarily and his side are currently eight in Serie A, seven points adrift of the Champions League zone and four away from a Europa League spot.

They host Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
