Giorgio Perinetti has replaced Pietro Lo Monaco with immediate effect following Pietro Lo Monaco’s decision to part company with Palermo.
Sky Sport Italia confirmed that the former Siena sporting director will take over from Pietro Lo Monaco after an unsettling few days for the Sicilian club.
The Rosanero are currently having a disastrous season and following their constant poor form, coach Gian Piero Gasperini was sacked and replaced by Alberto Malesani.
Lo Monaco, who was in charge of transfers at the club then followed Gasperini out of the door despite him bringing a whole host of fresh faces at the club in January transfer window.
Perinetti had a stint with Palermo for one month last season and he has been brought back in for a second spell as the Rosanero look to add some much needed control to their season.
