Inter have identified either Bologna’s Alessandro Diamanti or Juan Quintero of Pescara as potential transfer targets this summer, say Calciomercato today.

They are continuing to look to build this area of the pitch following the January arrivals of Zdravko Kuzmanovic and Mateo Kovacic and will move for either the 29-year-old or the 20-year-old at the end of the season.

Diamanti and Bologna have already turned down the offer of a move to Zenit St Petersburg with the player preferring to stay in Italy and move to a bigger club, according to his agent.

The Nerazzurri also have a good relationship with his current club and may hope to wrap up a deal for the Italian international for a fee in the region of €10m.

If they are to move for his Colombian counterpart, they face strong competition from city rivals AC Milan although they have been in contact with the Delfini about a move and Ivan Cordoba is regularly reporting on his progress.
