Manchester City continue to monitor Sampdoria’s impressive youngster Pedro Obiang as the English side look to plan their summer transfer market.
Sampdorianews.net are reporting that Roberto Mancini scouted the player during their recent 3-1 victory over Roma, along with teammate Mauro Icardi.
The Spanish midfielder has impressed this season, following an impressive Serie B campaign last season when he helped the Genoa club return to Serie A.
If Mancini remains on the bench of the English giants, a bid for Obiang would be expected as the Italian manager is eager to lock up the talented midfielder.
