AC Milan youngster M’Baye Niang has declared he will score his first goal for the Rossoneri in the derby against Inter.

The 18-year-old has enjoyed an impressive first season with the club after joining from French side Caen in the summer.

“I am not a full-fledged starter as I must continue to play,” he told Corriere dello Sera.

“I must work everyday because Robinho is better than me and I must always look to get confirmation of my work.”

“In France the mentality is different to that of Italy: here you must be more professional. I am only asked to think about football and to be more careful in every aspect of life. ”

“AC Milan are my big chance and I can’t throw it away because of clubs, cars and other distractions.”

“My first goal? I will score it in the derby.”
