Hulk, striker for Zenit St Petersburg, has stated that he would be open to a switch to Inter next term.

The former Porto striker switched to the Russian side for a reported fee of £34m less than a year ago. Since signing he has had a disappointing time playing in Luciano Spalleti’s side and has now fueled speculation linking him with a move away.

“My future? I love the Premier League and La Liga,” Hulk told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“In Italy, Milan and Inter have some great players, tradition and history. I watch them every now and then.

“Serie A is a great League – I have many friends at Inter like Guarin and Alvaro Pereira.”

Hulk would be a welcome signing at Inter Milan as they struggle to find consistency this term and find themselves sixth in Serie A.

The Brazilian striker made a name for himself in Japan before switching to Porto in 2008. His time with the Portuguese side was very successful as he scored 54 goals in 99 league appearances on his way to winning three domestic titles and the Europa league in the 2010-11 season.

His form since his switch to Russia has languished, only netting three times in 11 league appearances, and he is now desperate to move away.
