FIFA agent Roberto Calenda has revealed that Brazilian youngster Lucas had agreed to join Inter, before PSG hijacked the deal.

The 20-year-old had long been courted by the Nerazzurri and a deal looked set to be finalized, before the oil-rich French side intervened and signed the Sao Paolo star.

“Lucas is an amazing talent that has explosive characteristics,” Calenda told Sky Sport 24.

“He is made for European football and we have already seen that after watching him play for PSG.”

“Inter? Yes, he had accepted the Nerazzurri’s project and had made his decision. After a year and a half of work the Nerazzurri had obtained the player’s approval.”

“Unfortunately, between the agreement and the actual completion of the deal there were the €45 million offered by PSG who left him at Sao Paolo until December so that he could win the Copa Sudamericana.”

“Did he already sign with Inter? Let’s say that the player had completely accepted Inter’s offer, but a deal must be completed by three parties.”
