Inter’s Antonio Cassano has been fined €40,000 after his alteration with Andrea Stramaccioni.
The pair had to be split apart after an argument at the Nerazzurri’s training ground became a little to full-blooded and they almost came to blows.
Cassano was subsequently dropped from the Inter squad which took on Catania on Sunday.
The Italian international had since apologised to his teammates and the coach over his actions, and is expected to take part in the Europa League clash with Tottenham on Thursday.
