Reports indicate that Inter will look to sign ex-Fiorentina transfer guru Pantaleo Corvino after being frustrated by the performance of director Marco Branca.

President Massimo Moratti has been vocal about his displeasure with the Nerazzurri’s season, citing the sale of Wesley Sneijder and insufficient backup for striker Diego Milito as concerns.

As a result, there are growing reports that long-serving director Branca will be shown out the door at the San Siro come the end of the season.

Reports in the Corriere Fiorentino have suggested that the leader in the race to replace Branca is Corvino, who previously worked as a director for Fiorentina but departed last summer.

Corvino has carved out a reputation as a proficient transfer handler, known for his work at Lecce where he uncovered talents such as Fabrizio Miccoli and Mirko Vucinic.
