Juventus striker attracting offers from Russian sides

Juventus’ striker Nicklas Bendtner is attracting the interest of a number of Russian sides according to his agent.

The 25-year-old joined the Bianconeri on a season long loan deal from Arsenal but has failed to impress the Juve hierarchy in his eight appearances for the team.

“We’ve had contact several times with Russian teams,” his agent Tom Brooks told Russian newspaper Izvestia.

“Interest has also been shown by English and Italian clubs and Nicklas would like to play regularly in the Champions League.

“A large number of talented players have gone to Russia in recent years. If a solid proposal arrives, we will consider it.”
