The agent of Roberto Insigne has stated that he believes his client will be loaned out to a Serie B club next season.
The brother of Napoli starlet Lorenzo Insigne, Roberto has largely played for the club’s Primavera side while making his first team debut against PSV in the Europa League in December.
While he could have gone on loan to another club to gain experience, agent Antonio Ottaino explained why the 18-year-old stayed at the Partenopei.
“Napoli, in agreement with myself and the player, decided to have him play with the Primavera this season,” Ottaiano told Radio Gol.
“Rather than joining a Lega Pro side, we wanted to increase the club’s exposure. That is why I think he will play for a Serie B side next season.”
