Italian clubs don’t have enough money to sign Marco Verratti, the PSG player’s agent has insisted.
Verratti left Pescara for PSG in the summer after the French giants paid Pescara €12 million for his services, despite the fact he’d only played lower league football up to that point in his career.
“It’s all just talk for now,” Donato Di Campli told Radio Kiss Kiss.
“The boy is at PSG, he wants to stay and is part of the project. His future in Paris is not tied to that of boss Carlo Ancelotti.”
“It would be very hard to see Marco back in Italy. Only a few clubs could buy him and even fewer could afford his wages.”
Juventus, Milan, Roma and Napoli are all keen on the playmaker who also been linked with moves to Spain and England.
After signing a five-year contract with the French side, Verratti made his debut with PSG in August in a Ligue 1 match against Lorient.
