The agent of Bayern Munich coach Jupp Heynckes has revealed that the new Bundesliga champions made an offer for Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal.
Quique Reyes told Cadena Cope radio network in Spain that a firm offer was put on the table for the Chilean international who played in the Bundesliga for Bayer Leverkusen between 2007-11.
He said: “There was an offer for Vidal worth €45 million, but Juventus made it clear they did not want to sell the player.”
The 25-year-old has made 41 appearances for the Bianconeri this season, scoring 13 times.
