Atalanta have declared they will do everything in their power to keep hold of Giacomo Bonaventura for another season despite growing interest from other clubs.
The attacking midfielder has had an excellent season with La Dea and has been heavily linked with a summer move to Fiorentina.
“Bonaventura is not available for transfer, he’s not on the market” Atalanta sporting director Pierpaolo Marino stated.
“We would like to keep him here with us for another season.”
Bonaventura has risen through Atalanta’s youth academy to become a one of the clubs most prolific players. The 23-year-old has featured regularly this season and scored seven goals in the Serie A.
