Jordy Clasie has issued a statement claiming he is flattered by the claims linking him with a move to Fiorentina.
However the young midfielder insisted that he is not thinking about a move away just yet and is fully focused on the current season with Feyenoord.
“The next few weeks will be very important for Feyenoord and so now I am only focused on doing well with my current club.” said Clasie.
“I think it was the first club to contact Feyenoord to ask questions about me. I am very pleased that an important club is following me but right now I am not thinking about that, I am only concentrating on the league.”
“I am only thinking about giving my best and then at the end of the season I will decide what to do.”
Clasie has become a popular player with the Feyenoord fans who have nicknamed him the Dutch Xavi due to his style of play.
