Inter have denied reports which suggested director Marco Fassone to have confirmed the signings of five players – Diego Laxalt, Hugo Campagnaro, Marco Andreolli, Mauro Icardi and Ruben Botta.

Of these five players, Diego Laxalt’s signature was confirmed in January, but given the delay in obtaining his Italian passport, the 20 year old Uruguayan’s transfer has been placed on hold, whilst Marco Andreolli and Hugo Campagnaro are thought to have signed for the Nerazzurri on free transfers from Chievo and Napoli respectively.

Twenty three year old Tigre midfielder Ruben Botta is also expected to move to Inter on a free transfer, with both his agent and club coach confirming the switch.

In addition, Mauro Icardi’s €15 million move from Sampdoria, which includes co-ownership of one Inter primavera player, has also been completed according to most newspapers in Italy.

However, Inter made it clear on their official website, inter.it, that Marco Fassone gave no such interview.
