Napoli are hoping to obtain the services of both Pablo Osvaldo and Erik Lamela from Roma in the summer as they look to form a post Edinson Cavani attack.

The Uruguayan has been linked with a move away from the Stadio San Paolo all season, though he does have a €63 million release clause in his contract. Meanwhile, Osvaldo has struggled a bit since his move to Roma, while 21-year-old Lamela might be tempted by the prospect of playing Champions League football next year with the Partenopei.

According to Corriere del Mezzogiorno, Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri has made Lamela one of his main summer targets, along with Osvaldo, the very same Lamela that the Partenopei tried to acquire before he ended up at Roma.

That was two years ago and now the flame has been reignited.

Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis hopes they can form an attack around these two players that have only showed a glimpse of their true potential in the capital.
