Pescara sporting director Daniele Delli Carri admits he would be interested in signing Napoli youngster Roberto Insigne on loan.

The younger brother of Lorenzo Insigne has impressed for the Primavera this season, along with making his first-team debut in December in a Europe League match against PSV.

“Roberto on loan to us? In football you can never say never. We have been following him for some time and I have always been in awe of his talents,” Delli Carri told Radio Kiss Kiss on Monday.

He also commented on older brother Lorenzo and his great strike on Sunday to defeat Cagliari in injury time.

“I am very happy for Lorenzo and the goal he scored yesterday because it shows he can be useful at a very important time in Napoli’s season.”

“He already showed his skills at Pescara last season when he easily scored against Cittadella and Bari. I think that the Biancoazzurri faithful will welcome him with open arms on Saturday.”

Pescara will play host to Insigne and his Napoli side on Saturday.
