Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio is convinced the player’s agent, Riccardo Calleri, has been in Spain recently to meet with Atletico Madrid officials.
The 20 year-old was named Player of the Tournament in the South American Under-20 championships and has since made 20 appearances for Pescara.
Both Milanese clubs are thought to be interested in the Delfini star.
