Roma defender Ivan Piris has stated his desire to remain with the Giallorossi once the season concludes.
The 24-year-old is on loan from Uruguayan club Deportivo Maldonado but the capital club have an option to purchase him for €4 million which he hopes they will exercise.
“If it were up to me I would remain here,” he told vocegiallorossa.it.
“We still have some games to play and we will wait and see what the club decide. We still have the chance to qualify and play in Europe and that is the motivation we have to do well.”
“[Aurelio] Andreazzoli? I get on well with him. I have played several games as a central defender and I have found a lot of playing time under him.”
